Comment s'y rendre
We are a three hour drive from the Kona Airport and 45 minutes from the Hilo Airport. Plugging in address into Google Maps or navigator app will bring you to the property. IMPORTANT: The property is on the corner of Kipuka St. and Kalaunu St. The entrance for the Sweetspot Grotto is on Kalaunu St:
- If driving on Kalaunu St towards Kipuka St, it’s the last driveway on the left.
- If driving on Kipuka St, turn into Kalaunu St, it’s the first driveway on the right.
PARKING
Assuming you’re arriving by car, when you pull into the yard on Kalaunu St, there will be a small tree infront of you to the left, and some plants and another couple of small tees on the right. Drive through the gap between these trees and park next to the cars there.

Déplacements
Most everybody rents a car but if you have the time and the notion there are buses the go from where the Sweet Spot is into Hilo and runs three times a day. Hitchhiking is also an accepted and very common means of getting around. But if you want to strike out on your own then an auto rental is the way to go. And book it as soon as you make your flight plans. VERY IMPORTANT. Don't expect there to be cars as Hilo is a small airport and the prices, even on the Kona side can be very dear.
