Shaldon can be easily accessed by car off the A380 Devon Highway and is signposted travelling both north and southbound.

The nearest train station is in Teignmouth 3 miles away. The train from Teignmouth has direct routes to Plymouth and Exeter. London can be easily accessed from Exeter with 2 train routes in to Paddington and Waterloo.

The nearest airport is Exeter and onward travel would be by bus from Exeter airport in to Exeter to pick up the train to Teignmouth.

Parking in Shaldon like many Devon villages is restricted to 1 hour from May to September in the designated locations and becomes free overnight ( please check the parking signs for details). There is free unrestricted car parking all year round around the green and this is on a first come first served basis. The parking around the green is not suitable for oversized vehicles.

A parking permit for one car is included in bookings from the beginning of May to the end of September and will require the number plate of the vehicle to be shared as part of the arrival confirmation. The permit is for use in either of the 2 pay and display car parks within Shaldon and are subject to the parking restrictions of each car park ( one is short stay the other long stay). The 2 pay and display car parks are within a 5 minute walk of the property.

For additional vernicles there are 2 car parks in Shaldon which are pay and display between 9am - 6pm and free outside of these hours. The car parks are either end of Shaldon and one is short stay limited to 5 hours. A weekly pass can be purchased from Teignbridge for £25 which can be used for parking in both of these car parks throughout the week. The car parks are around a 5 minute walk from the property and we would advise if no parking is available at the Green when you arrive that you drop off your bags before parking up.
