Portinode is located less than 3 miles (5 km) to the north west of the village of Kesh, on the tranquil shores of Lower Lough Erne. It is approximately 95 miles (150 km) from Belfast and about 100 miles (160 km) from Dublin. Both cities are well served by affordable flights from the UK and beyond. Car hire is available from Belfast City (George Best) Airport, Belfast International Airport and Dublin Airport. Portinode can be reached within a two and a half hours drive from either city. Regular vehicle ferry services are also an option. These include services from Stranraer and Liverpool Birkenhead to Belfast, and Liverpool Birkenhead and Holyhead to Dublin. The shortest ferry routes are from the Scottish ports of Stranraer, Cairnryan and Troon to Larne, just north of Belfast.
