Alonissos doesn’t have it’s own airport – enabling the islanders to retain much of their traditional Greek character and charm without the influence of mass tourism. So the last part of your journey to Alonissos will be by ferry. Most people take a regular direct flight to nearby Skiathos, then it’s a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport to the ferry port where you can catch one of the numerous ferries (2 hours transfer time), Flying Dolphin or Cat hydrofoils (1.5 hours transfer time) taking you to Alonissos’ harbour town of Patitiri where you will be met by our representative. Alternatively, you can fly to Athens and get a taxi to the port of Agios Konstantinos from which you can catch a ferry to Skopelos, change ferries and travel on to the Alonissos harbour town of Patitiri. (Total transfer time approx 3.5 hours.
