The airport you would fly into for Benalmádena is Malaga which is a 20 minute drive from Benalmadena.
Airport transfers can be arranged via a well know transfer company through Benalrent. Details of which will be given once your holiday balance has been paid. The advantages of booking a private transfer is that there will be someone to greet you upon arrival and will take you straight to the property.
Public transport is easily accessible from the airport. There is a taxi rank right outside with an approximate cost of about €30 one way for up to 4 people. Or you can get the train to Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel €3 per person one way and then a taxi to the property which will cost about €10, again for up to 4 people.The train timetable can easily be found on the internet.
It is a 20 minute walk from the train station in Benalmadena to the apartment but do bear in mind it can get very hot when pulling cases behind you in the heat of the summer.

Déplacements
The local bus service is cheap and reliable and the bus stops can be found on the main road less than 10 minutes walk away. From the local tobacconists shop you can purchase a bus card which you pre pay so you do not need cash each time you use the bus. This is very handy. You can visit Malaga, Fuengirola, Mijas all great places to visit while you are in the area. The train station in Arroyo de las Miel is about a 15 minute walk. There will be details on things to see and do in the apartment. You do not need a car to stay here
