The Old Exchange is about a 2.5hr drive from London Heathrow depending on traffic, although Southampton Airport is the nearest major regional airport being 45 mins away. Hire cars can be picked up at either airport. If arriving by train Southampton Airport Parkway is only 1hr from London Waterloo station and is also the easiest location to pick up a hire car. The train does carry on to Bournemouth and Poole, but unless you have someone to meet you, transport to The Old Exchange would be only possible by taxi which could be costly £30+. To explore the area a car is a necessity and there is ample parking in front of the property. Sat Nav is accurate for BH21 5AF and The Old Exchange can be found on Witchampton Lane next to the new telephone exchange on one side, and our property High Lea Cottage on the other. If you find yourself going over a hump back bridge into Witchampton village you have gone too far down the hill!
