By air, train, bus and car. There is no need for a car in Edinburgh as the local bus services are excellent We suggest that you just hire it when necessary from Enterprise, Hertz, Europcar and others. The railway and bus station are near to us. Trams and buses to and from Edinburgh Airport stop ten and fifteen minutes away. A taxi from the airport costs around twenty seven pounds for up to 5 or 6 persons.. There are local bus tours as well as others departing from Edinburgh to all parts of Scotland, including the beautiful West Coast and the Islands in the Inner Hebrides.

Parking is free outside the house from 17:30 Friday to 08:30 Monday. Otherwise Monday to Friday payable at around £2 per hour from 08:30 to 17:30 daily, and free each evening and Saturday and Sunday. If you wish to find free parking during the day we can help by finding a space one mile away.
