Fly to Santander or Bilbao Airports, all have connections with various budget and scheduled airlines from UK (inc. Easyjet, Ryan Air) and most of the major cities in Europe, inc. Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Milan, Rome, Brussels, Paris and daily connections from Madrid.

Rental Cars can be hired at all the above listed airports and ports, and for best service and quality of vehicle we recommend Hertz.

Ferries (Brittany Ferries) offer an excellent service between Plymouth and Portsmouth to both Santander and Bilbao throughout the year.

Rail travel is good in the area using both the RENFE and FEVE services. There is a popular Metro service from Infiesto to Oviedo main railway station. (The RENFE Madrid to Oviedo route is a wonderful journey if you have a connection out of Madrid and there is a rental car hire service at Oviedo Train Station).

The road network in Northern Spain is brilliant, all new dual carriageways for most of your journey and easy routing.
