Comment s'y rendre
Le village de Sainteny est situé à environ 45 minutes en voiture du port de Cherbourg, à une heure du port de Caen, et une dizaine de kms équi-distance entre les villes de Carentan et Périers dans la Manche en Normandie. Pour atteindre Les Gites Champetres, que vous passez à travers le village sur la route principale, vous verrez la boucherie d'un côté de la route, et est juste en face d'un signe indiquant D297 à Sainteny-bourg et Auxais. Prenez ce tournant, et après environ 600 mètres, tournez à gauche sur un signe indiquant D543 à Ventigny. L'allée Les Gites Champetres est la deuxième entrée sur votre gauche, Oak Cottage est la première des trois chambres d'hôtes vous venez.

Not to be missed is the newly inaugurated British Normandy Memorial, inaugurated in 2021 and located less than half an hour from both Bayeux and Caen.
