DIRECTIONS TO TZITZIFES FOR ZOI'S HOUSE TO DRIVE FROM THE AIRPORT coordinates in degrees, minutes, seconds: Tzitzifes Latitude 35.369742 - Longitude 24.152680E (Dwelling) FROM CHANIA AIRPORTOn leaving the airport follow the signs towards Rethymnon, bearing left at the first junction. After 2km at the first roundabout turn right and continue to the next roundabout (a further 5km). Turn left at this second roundabout, signposted to Souda. (Anti-clockwise around the roundabout – take care and watch out for traffic joining on your right once you are on the roundabout). Follow the road 7kms into Souda until you come to the traffic lights with the INKA supermarket on your right. Turn right at the traffic lights(signposted to Rethymnon, Heraklion ) and follow the road round the bend. A large wide road junction is here on your left with 3 roads leading on/ off. Turn left at the far end of this junction, the last turn off, signposted to Rethymnon.(Note: Oncoming traffic here has the right of way, while traffic coming off the roads to your left should give way.). Then follow the signs for Rethymnon (left hand lane) to get on to the National road. Journey time to this point about 30 minutes.for approximately 18km. (pass Aptera, Kalives/Kalami and Armenoi/ Kalyves turn offs). Then take the exit at the overhead bridge, with a green sign (up on the bridge) reading in Greek: Αγιος Παντες Παίδοχωρι Μελιδονι Τζιτζιφες . At the crossroads (50m) turn left. Continue on for 1km and then turn right, signposted (In Greek) TZIZIΦΕΣ and TABEPNA TZTZIFIA. Drive on into Fres (Φρες) and turn right (signed towards 'Panagia of the two Rocks' – do NOT take the left turn towards TABERNA Tzizifia at this point) and then turn left at the big church, again signposted 'Panagia of the two Rocks'. At the T junction turn left, signposted 'Tsitsifes and TABEPNA TZITZIFIA. Drive past the square then turn right, continuing to follow signs for TABEPNA TZTZIFIA. Drive for 2 ½ km, passing the Taverna Rizitiko on left (at 1km) then passing through the village and on past the road sign for Nipos, shortly after which you will see another sign for the TABERNA TZITZIFIA off to the left. Take this left turn and drive down the hill (narrow lane) 100m. Zoi's is the peach coloured house on your right – sideways on to the road, with parking in front. Continue along the highway, past Rethimnon (77kms) then after another 35 kms approximately, take the exit signposted Georgioupoli, Vrisses, Vamos. At the next junction turn left, following the signs to Vrysses, Sfakia. Go under the bridge and follow the road round to the right then straight on. After 2km arrive in Vrysses. At the T. junction turn right signposted 'town hall 0.5km'. Drive 5km then take the left turn signposted (in Greek) ΦΡΕΣ, ΤΖΙΤΖΙΦΕΣ, ΝΙΠΠΟΣ. Drive on into Fres (Φρες) and turn right (signed towards 'Panagia of the two Rocks' – do NOT take the left turn towards TABERNA Tzizifia at this point) and then turn left at the big church, again signposted 'Panagia of the two Rocks'.
