Whilst the resort has not been over-developed, it has a modern infrastructure with Spanish bank branches and ATMs located throughout, an A&E clinic in the centre of the resort, and English-speaking doctor and dentist surgeries.On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a market at Playa Rubicon selling leather goods, clothes, traditional crafts and souvenirs.The overriding atmosphere is of a safe, unspoilt resort.
