Getting to Lanzarote is relatively easy - Lanzarote is on the airline route maps for most of the UK and Irish airports and depending on where you live, there are a number of budget airlines flying directly to the island. Airport Transfers - Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote and has the only airport on the island. Playa Blanca is 32 kilometres to the south by road on the LZ2 - a journey time of about 25 minutes. ‡ Car Hire - The island is served by all the International Car Hire companies and many local companies as well. A search on the internet for 'lanzarote car hire' will produce a comprehensive list of companies.‡ Airport Taxis - Taxis are also available at the airport for transfer to the villa. Transports publics - Récemment, un nouveau service de bus (à arrêts multiples) a été mis en place pour relier Las Colorades à l'est à Faro de Pechiguera à l'ouest. Le service fonctionne deux fois par heure à partir de Villas Del Sur. Location de voitures - L'île est desservie par toutes les sociétés de location de voitures internationales et par de nombreuses entreprises locales.
