a) By air:

From Athens and Rhodes, with daily flights, or from European countries with their charter flights during the summer season months…

b) By the sea:

With ferry from Piraeus and Rhodes with a stopover in Karpathos at the ports of Pigadia and Diafani…

How to reach Tristomo and Iliahtida Project

There is no highway to Tristomo so you can not drive to Iliahtida Project…

Come to Tristomo

a) By the sea using a boat:

Once visitors arrive at the international airport of Karpathos, they can take a taxi or rent a car, so after driving an hour you will reach the nearest village from Tristomo, Diafani village…

From there a boat in less than an hour will take you to Tristomo and Iliahtida…

b) On foot from Diafani village or Avlona, walking in one of the two (2) very old trails that will lead you to Tristomo.

First path:

Starting from Diafani you will walk the path named “Xyloskala”, situated on the eastern side of the island…

The distance is ten (10) kilometers to go and the time you need to get to Tristomo will be three and a half (3.5) hours…

Second path:

The second route starts from the traditional village of Avlona (traditional settlement) on the route to “Gitsila” name, situated on the west side of the island…

The distance is eight and a half (8.5) kilometers and the time you need to get to Tristomo is three (3) hours…
