RENTAL CARS NEED TO BE ARRANGED FAR IN ADVANCE DURING THE SUMMER.

From St John's, take the TransCanada Highway ("TCH") west up the Avalon Peninsula to pass Clarenville. Take the exit for Hwy 230 which carries you straight into Bonavista. Once you pass the RCMP detachment, look for Hospital Rd on your left. Follow Hospital Rd as it winds along to end at the waterfront. Turn left onto Campbell St passing the Ryan Premises. At the "Y" in the road veer right to take Canaille Rd. Follow Canaille along until you reach Hampton House, the blue saltbox #61 on your left.

From the ferry at Argentia, take Hwy 100 north to the TCH. Turn onto TCH west and continue on past Clarenville as noted above.
