Car Hire

We normally use Dollar car rental. They are slightly more expensive but provide a more comprehensive cover bookable at the time of the reservation. An alternative is to use Thrifty, which is owned by Dollar. Thrifty is slightly cheaper than Dollar whilst offering the same service. Some other car hire companies offer extra cover but this is only bookable when you collect the car, i.e. additional driver, full fuel tank, and the local costs are normally higher than when booked in England.
