HOW TO GET TO FREJUS:

If you come by plane and land at NICE CÔTE D'AZUR AIRPORT, you can take a train to SAINT RAPHAËL (2km from FREJUS) from the station of SAINT AUGUSTIN, just in front of the airport at NICE. I'll wait for you at the station.

You can also rent a car from the airport, you take directly the A8 motorway, direction CANNES, AIX. FREJUS is only 60 kms from NICE AIRPORT. You put the villa adress on the GPS and you are here. I'll be waiting for you with a bottle of champagne in the fridge. We also can collect you at the airport for a reasonable price.

Otherwise, you arrive directly, driving on the AUTOROUTE DU SOLEIL from PARIS or any other place. I'll also be there to welcome you.

You also can come by train and go down at SAINT RAPHAEL. I can wait for you at the station.

WHERE TO GO ON EXCURSION AROUND PORT-FREJUS:

Around the corner, you have the lovely PORT FREJUS and Two kms. from our villa is SAINT RAPHAËL with its sophisticated restaurants and terraces as well as some well stocked shops. Walking at night from PORT FREJUS up to SAINT RAPHAËL old fishing port, is a real pleasure as you find all along, plenty of entertainments such as the night markets on the seafront boulevard.

From FREJUS and SAINT RAPHAËL, you can easily join CANNES through the 35 kms Calanques road of the ESTEREL MOUNTAINS which is one of the most beautiful scenery you can go through with its red rocks made of porphyre and the blue Mediterranean sea and sky. Take a picnic with you and stop at one of those creeks down the road, to spend there hours of farniente and sunbathing, admiring the sea stars and red live tomatoes under the rocks before having lunch and some fresh Rosé wine of PROVENCE. Then, make your way up to the CROISETTE at CANNES and go along the designers shops and the richest hotels of the CÔTE D'AZUR.

Besides, we are on one hand, at 30 kms from CANNES and just a few kilometers from the GOLDEN CORNICHE which is a marvellous blue (of the sea and the sky) and red (of the rocks falling down into the sea) piece of coast on the way to that city along the seaside; and the same from SAINT TROPEZ, driving through a beautiful road by the sea where you will admire lovely creeks and small beaches

Another excursion which you will repeat a few times to discover all its secret places, is the one to SAINT TROPEZ with its excentric beaches of PAMPLONNE, TAHITI, LES SALINS, some on RAMATUELLE territory where you can also visit that typical village surrounded by famous wine properties which cover with their green extension, the way down to the sea. You will aso visit COGOLIN, PORT GRIMAUD and both its old and new villages, GASSIN, SAINTE MAXIME and LES ISSAMBRES, all beautiful villages, marina and resorts located just a few steps away from FREJUS.

Other excursions will take you naturally to ANTIBES, SAINT PAUL DE VENCE, GRASSE, NICE, EZE, MONACO and MENTON. You can even go through the frontier, to the BELLA ITALIA and visit some of its lovely villages as well as SAN REMO and the famous friday VENTIMIGLIA market.

But for those who don't want to travel so far, you'll find plenty of gorgeous PROVENCE villages a few kms. from FREJUS, such as BAGNOL EN FORÊT, ROQUEBRUNNE S/ARGENS, LE MUY, LA MOTTE, CALLAS and BARGEMON where you can visit the wine caves and taste the Gods' drink made in the surrounding vineyards of CÔTE DE PROVENCE.
