The modern airport of Fuerteventura is located close to the capital Puerto del Rosario 40 kilometres from your destination, Gran Tarajal in the South of the island.

A taxi ride from the airport to Gran Tarajal costs about 50 euros, one way. Public transport is very well organized, cheap and runs pretty punctual, but we recommend a rental car in advance to allow you to explore the island and or plan for excursions.
