Comment s'y rendre
Most of our guests arrive by rental car (2.5 hours from San José), some by bus or by taxi. We can arrange transfers from/to San José airport (3 hours) or meet guests at the Turrialba bus terminal.
Our place is located above the small town of Pavones. The distance from the main road Turrialba-Siquirres is 1km. Our place can be reached with any type of car. Guests can drive right up to the front door of the guest house. The house is wheelchair accessible.
Déplacements
A car, preferably a 4WD, is recommendable for excursions in the wider region or to other regions including the beaches. The best beaches on the Caribbean Coast are a short 2.5 hours’ drive away. During longer stays, it might not be necessary to rent a car for the entire period. Instead, we encourage renting a bicycle or motorbike. The public transportation network is excellent. There are hourly local and long-distance buses on most routes. However, due to virus infection risks, it advisable to avoid using buses.
