Comment s'y rendre

If you are arriving by train or bus via Leeds city centre, you can take a no. 2, 3 or 3A bus from VICAR LANE in the city centre and ask the driver to get off at CHAPEL ALLERTON HOSPITAL. As you get off the bus, turn back in the direction the bus came from, take the first road on your right (St. Martins Avenue), then at the fork immediately after, take the left (St. Martins Avenue still) and head all the way up the hill. At the top, turn left into St. Martins Gardens. (8 minute walk)

Alternatively, take a no. 7 bus, also from VICAR LANE, and ask to get off at SCOTT HALL PLAYING FIELDS. As you get off the bus, cross the main road at the pedestrian crossing and enter straight where the road is blocked with bollards so cars can not go through (Scott Hall Grove). Follow the road round as it bends to the right, then take the second left into Scott Hall Terrace, then the second right into St. Martins Gardens. (8 minute walk)

Imagine the street like a lollipop, a straight bit, and a circle. I am in the circle and as you head down the straight bit, where the road forks, take the right and then look for a BLUE AND WHITE FENCE on the left hand side of the road. The numbers are a bit all over the place in the street, so the fence is your best indication!

Déplacements

There are plenty of bus routes from close to the house. The nearest bus stop is 5-10 minutes' walk away and you can get a bus into the city centre every 10 minutes. You can also get a direct bus to the famous Headingley Yorkshire County Cricket Club (No 91), or catch the No 36 bus to Harewood House, Harrogate or further to Ripon in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a 10-15 minute bus ride into the city centre and from there you can take trains or buses to other destinations in Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Dales, as well as Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Newcastle or travel on to Scotland. There are direct trains to London, too.
